There are common questions that businesses and homeowners in Melbourne ask when looking for building inspection services. We answer some of them here.
Fundamentally the inspection process does not differ we still inspect the property with the same procedure covering all areas reporting all defects with the same consistent standards. However the wording in some sections of the reporting process is different to accommodate the sale process.

You can also submit your request online at the online booking form, see link.In order to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours notification.Your report will be emailed to you on the same day of the home inspection.
The inspector will also verbally communicate findings to you once you have at a minimum read the major summary section of the report/s (the page is positioned at the front of the report/s immediately after the index so you cannot miss it).
You may request a hard copy of the inspection report at no extra charge.We accept major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard).
Other acceptable payment methods are bank transfer.All hard copy requests are accepted via email. Be sure to indicate the address that you would like the hard copy sent.A typical home inspection of an average single-family home three bedroom and two bathroom, takes approximately 2 hours however this can depend greatly on the condition of the home.If you wish to be present during your home inspection we completely understand, however we will not accept any distractions during the process as this may lead to missing items during the inspection. We will discuss any questions you may have after the inspection process is completed.If you have any questions about the report you can give us a call. We will make every effort for you to be comfortable with the report/s on your home.Yes. An inspection is always recommended before purchasing a home (old or new). Just because the home is new does not mean that everything is ok. Defects not rectified during the building process can cause deterioration in quite a short time span.
